Whether you’re new to food sovereignty or already deeply engaged, this space is about learning together, building connections, and strengthening our collective capacity to act. You don’t need to have it all figured out to be part of this work.
Due to limited capacity, registration is required. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, additional registrants will be added to a waitlist. You will receive an email confirming your spot, and we ask you to let us know if you are no longer available.
At a time when many of us are asking “what can I actually do?”, this gathering creates space to:
– Connect global movements to local realities,
– Practice solidarity as something lived, not abstract,
– Explore food sovereignty across scales: body, community, region, and beyond,
– Build relationships and strategies that can carry forward beyond the room.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in food systems and community change. We welcome a mix of experiences – this space is designed to support learning across different entry points.
Important: Participation & Time Commitment
To support a meaningful and respectful space for all participants, attendance for the full workshop (1-5 pm) is required. This helps build trust, continuity, and shared understanding across the group. If you’re unsure if you can attend the full session, we ask that you do not register at this time. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Thank you for helping us honour each other’s time and presence.
