Carly Torkkeli is a municipal councillor for the Township of O’Connor. She and her husband operate Torkcon Contracting, a local concrete and reinforcing steel company. Born and raised in Ayr,Ontario, Carly moved to Thunder Bay 18 years ago to attend Lakehead University and now calls Northern Ontario home.  Carly has a passion for agriculture and currently is the Chair of the Thunder Bay Veterinary Service Committee. Beyond volunteerism, she is a mother, wife, and lifelong learner.
